Note for the site owner: this policy has been drafted to describe how Zayteen actually operates, but it is not legal advice and has not been reviewed by a lawyer. Have a Pakistani lawyer check it before launch, particularly if you begin shipping internationally or accepting online payments.

What we store

Your cart

When you add a bottle to your cart, we save it in your browser's local storage under the key zayteen_cart_v1. This is what stops your cart emptying when you refresh or come back later.

It contains only product identifiers, sizes and quantities. It holds no personal information, is not sent to any server, and is not readable by any other website.

Strictly necessary cookies

Our hosting provider may set a small number of cookies needed for security and to serve the site correctly. These cannot be switched off without breaking the site.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled on this site, they are used only to understand which pages people read and where they leave. This section should be updated with the specific tool in use, what it collects, and how long it retains data, before launch.

Advertising and tracking pixels

This version of the site does not load advertising or social media tracking pixels. If a pixel is added later, for example a Meta pixel for advertising, this page must be updated to say so, and a consent banner should be added before it is allowed to fire, particularly for visitors outside Pakistan.

How to clear what is stored

You can clear local storage and cookies for this site at any time through your browser's settings, usually under privacy or site data. Clearing it will empty your cart but will not affect any order you have already sent us.

Blocking local storage entirely will let you browse normally, but the cart will not remember items between pages.
